Almost two years after his last directorial, Darbar with the Superstar, director AR Murugadoss is now gearing up for his next venture, which will have Sivakarthikeyan in the lead.
A source close to the team informed us that the film will be an out-and-out action entertainer and the shoot is likely to begin in a couple of months. When we called Murugadoss to confirm this project, he responded with a ‘yes’. We also hear that the team has approached Anirudh Ravichander to compose music for the film.
Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan had earlier worked in a film titled Maan Karate (2014), in which Murugadoss was the story writer and co-producer.
Last year, there were speculations that Murugadoss would be teaming up with actor Simbu for a fantasy entertainer. That project may be on the back burner for some time.
