Members of the CPI(M)’s students wing, the Students Federation of India (SFI), announced that the controversial BBC documentary on PM Modi will be screened again at Kolkata’s Presidency University.

A screening of ‘India: The Modi Question’ will be organised at 4pm on campus Tuesday, days after the maiden showing of the controversial two-part documentary series was marred by a sudden power cut.

Last Friday, an alleged power outage disrupted the screening of the documentary at Presidency University. The SFI had claimed the power cut was an attempt by the university authorities to stop the broadcast of the documentary, which claims it investigated certain aspects relating to the 2002 Gujarat riots when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the chief minister of the state.
