Maruti Suzuki India’s next two big launches will be the Fronx and the Jimny. We have got our hands on some important details pertaining to the introduction of these two models.

While the Maruti Suzuki Fronx will be launched in the second week of April, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be launched a little later.

Till now, the Fronx has garnered over 15,500 bookings, translating into almost 218 bookings per day. The Jimny has received over 23,500 bookings, which means roughly 331 bookings per day.

Both SUVs were unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023 with the bookings opening on January 12.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx price might be in the range of Rs 6.75 lakh to Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny might hover between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Fronx has five variants — Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. The Jimny has only two variants — Zeta and Alpha.

The Fronx has two engine options — K12N 1.2-litre Dual-Jet Dual-VVT petrol (90PS/113Nm) and K10C 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet petrol (100PS/148Nm). The K12N engine has 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT options, while the K10C engine has 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT options.

The Jimny has a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine (103PS/134Nm), which can be had with either a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed AT. The SUV gets Suzuki’s ALLGRIP PRO 4WD technology with low-range transfer gear (4L mode) as standard.
