New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday morning predicted light to moderate intensity rainfall in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for the next couple hours.
As per the weather department, light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of isolated places of Delhi during the next two hours.
It further predicted the same intensity of rain over and adjoining areas of isolated places of Yamunanagar, Kosali, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Bawal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Hodal (Haryana) in the next two hours.
“Light to moderate intensity rain would occur over & adjoining areas of isolated places of Saharanpur, Gangoh, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Kandhla, Khatauli, Sakoti, Tanda, Hastinapur, Chandpur, Baraut, Daurala, Bagpat, Meerut, Khekra, Modinagar, Kithor, Garhmukteshwar, Pilakhu, Hapur, Gulaoti, Siyana, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahar, Jahangirabad, Anupshahar, Shikarpur, Khurja, Pahasu, Debai, Narora, Gabhana, Jattari, Atrauli, Khair, Aligarh, Nandgaon, Iglas, Barsana, Raya, Hathras, Mathura, and Sadabad (UP) in the next couple of hours,” said the IMD.
The Met department also said that light to moderate intensity rainfall is very likely in Bhiwari, Tizara, Nagar, Deeg, Laxmangarh, Bharatpur (Rajasthan) during the next 2 hours.
Meanwhile, in view of the severe cold in Udaipur all classes up to fifth grade of all recognised schools in Udaipur will be suspended from 30 January to 31 January, informed state district collector.
According to an official statement from the district collectors office, the order will be applicable in all government, private and CBSE schools.
