The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of Bengaluru seized 541 kg of marijuana from a truck at Andhra Pradesh’s Rajahmundry on Wednesday. Four people in connection with the case were apprehended.
The NCB also nabbed a Skoda car which was said to be piloting the truck containing the large amount of marijuana.
The marijuana was said to be sourced from Andhra-Orissa-border and was planned to supply to different states including Karnataka, said NCB officials.

The officials further revealed that the interstate gang procures a large amount of marijuana, load them in trucks and stack them with various vegetables. Then, they transport them in the guise of vegetable transportation.
Further investigation is underway.
According to information, the interstate drug syndicate that was operating in the area has been neutralised by the seizure of the drug and the arrest of the individuals.
